REGULATIONS
In order to guarantee a perfect operation and maintain an adequate level of service of the sports facilities, the management of the centre makes available to you the regulations of use:
1. GENERAL RULES
- The installation schedule is: Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. – Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- Users must leave the sports spaces 10 minutes before the center closes.
- Smoking is not permitted in any space of the facility, even in the outdoor spaces of the outdoor courts.
- The entry of animals throughout the enclosure is expressly prohibited, with the exception of dogs accompanying blind people.
- Subscribers under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult in order to use the facilities, except when they participate in a specific directed activity for these age groups.
- It is mandatory to respect the schedules established for the different activities.
- Duin reserves the right to modify the program, the number of sessions and their content and schedule.
- The management of the facility is not responsible for lost, forgotten or stolen objects. Any lost items that may have been found will be kept at reception for one week.
- Damage and/or damage caused to the installation and/or material due to misuse will lead to its replacement and may result in the loss of the right to be paid.
- From our website you can fill out a form to send us your suggestions and/or complaints.
- Failure to comply with these regulations may result in the temporary or permanent suspension of the right of entry to the centre.
2. ADMINISTRATIVE PROCEDURES
- At the time of registration, the ID number and bank details of the Bank or Savings Bank must be provided, in order to be able to direct debit the bills.
- The amount of the registration fee and the first payment must be paid at reception to process the registration.
- The following payments will be paid by direct debit to the bank provided by the user.
- The subscriber may change the method of payment and notify the change of their personal or bank details as long as they communicate it in writing before the 22nd of the current month.
- In the event that there is a refund of the receipt for any reason beyond the control of the organization, the administrative expenses will be borne by the subscriber.
- Unpaid bills carry a surcharge of 3 euros that must be paid at the reception of the center when updating the receipt.
- When a subscriber or registered in a directed activity wishes to permanently withdraw from the centre, they must do so in writing at the reception of the facility before the 20th of the current month. In this case, to regain the status of season ticket holder, you must pay the registration fee again.
- As it is a public sports centre, the prices of each type of subscription will be approved by the City Council.
- The mandatory annual insurance of €9.99 is not included in any of the fees.
- Duin Las Rozas reserves the right to apply promotions or tuition discounts to people who have been unregistered from the facility for less than 6 months.
- Temporary medical leave will be valid in accordance with the medical report that proves said injury, from which the subscriber continues to be active with the contribution prior to the event.
4. RULES FOR CHANGING ROOMS
- Respect the space of other subscribers.
- It is recommended not to bring valuables. It is not allowed to deposit valuables in the lockers (jewelry, cameras, cell phones, etc.) The organization is not responsible for lost, forgotten and/or stolen objects. Duin will not be responsible for any damage caused to the goods deposited by users in the lockers.
- It is forbidden to eat inside the changing rooms.
- Children under 6 years of age may enter the corresponding changing room with their father or mother. From this age they must change on their own in the corresponding changing rooms. Boys accompanied by mothers and girls accompanied by fathers must use the children’s changing rooms.
- Bathing slippers should be worn in wet areas.
- All season ticket holders can use the lockers for occasional use by using their own padlock, which can be purchased at reception. It is advisable to use the lockers and check that the door is perfectly closed.
- The lockers must be emptied once the activity is over. At the end of the day, it will be opened, by breaking the padlock, and the objects found inside will be deposited as lost objects. Duin will not refund the amount of the locks.
- If you have problems with the lock or padlock, notify the installation staff.
- We must shower for the time strictly necessary so as not to waste water. We must contribute to their savings.
- We must dry ourselves in the shower area.
- For hygienic reasons, waxing, dyeing or shaving is not allowed in the changing room area.
6. RULES FOR THE FITNESS ROOM
- Children under 16 years of age are not allowed to enter or use the fitness equipment.
- The fitness room cannot be accessed with sports bags, food, glass containers, or any other materials that the facility staff believes to be potentially dangerous.
- It is not allowed to enter bare-chested, dressed in street clothes or with inappropriate footwear.
- For hygiene reasons, the use of the towel between the body and the machine used is mandatory.
- We must dry the sweat that may have remained on the machines, especially the cardiovascular ones.
- At peak times in the room, the time limit for the use of cardiovascular machines may not exceed 20 minutes.
- The material used must be returned to its site once its use is finished.
- During the recovery break between sets, it is mandatory to give up the machine if another subscriber is waiting.
7. RULES FOR THE STUDIES OF DIRECTED ACTIVITIES
- It is not allowed to enter or carry out activities aimed at children under 16 years of age, except those scheduled for this age group, unless authorized by the coordinator.
- Certain activities have capacity limitations. Users should find out about the procedures for reserving a place.
- It is not allowed to enter dressed in street clothes, with a bare torso, with inappropriate footwear or without a towel.
- It is necessary to use the towel to put it on the mats and dry the sweat that we may leave.
- Directed indoor activities are carried out throughout the year with the exception of holidays.
- You have to be punctual. The class will not be accessible once the session has started.
- It is advisable not to eat chewing gum because of its danger of choking and the alteration of the rhythm of breathing.
- In case you feel unwell, do not downplay it, we must immediately notify the staff of the center that is closest to you.
8. RULES FOR INDOOR CYCLING STUDIES
- Children under 16 years of age are not allowed to enter or carry out the activities unless authorized by the coordinator.
- It is not allowed to enter with glass containers or food.
- It is mandatory to wear sports shoes. If it is not specific footwear, fasten the laces to avoid injury.
- It is necessary to use the towel to dry the sweat and clean the bikes once the session is over.
- To avoid injury, do not enter the room once the session has started. It is necessary to enter 15 minutes before the start of the session to adjust the bike.
- If you feel fatigued or have a feeling of dizziness, do not hesitate to reduce the intensity of the exercise or stand progressively.
- Hydrate (drink water): before, during and after the activity.
- Since the number of bikes is limited, these classes are reserved for the exclusive use of our subscribers.
- From 30 minutes before the class, members will be able to book bicycles from the website. The reservation must be made in a personal and non-delegated manner.
9. GENERAL RULES FOR PADEL COURTS
- Children under 14 years of age who are not accompanied by a person of legal age are not allowed to enter (except in organized courses or activities)
- Wear appropriate clothing and footwear for sports on the courts, and it is totally forbidden to use the courts without a shirt. Likewise, the use of sports equipment not suitable for the sport in question, such as cleats or tennis rackets on the paddle tennis courts and vice versa, is prohibited. The use of each court must be its own, and no other sport may be practiced for which it is not intended.
- It is forbidden to rent the courts to give private lessons, and the entry of ball baskets or material for teaching paddle tennis is not allowed, except for monitors belonging to the club itself.
- The use of glass bottles is not allowed on the premises.
- The manipulation of the gaming networks by personnel outside the facility is not allowed. In the event of any anomaly, they must notify reception.
- We ask you to use the litter bins and collaborate with the proper maintenance of the facilities.
- Roller skates, skateboards, bicycles and soccer balls are not allowed in the facilities.
- Access to and permanence in the sports facility by users will entail appropriate behaviour in terms of attitude and respect towards the normal development of the activities, the whole facility and the staff who provide service in the facility.
10. REGULATIONS FOR THE RENTAL OF PADDLE TENNIS COURTS:
- To make use of the courts it is absolutely essential to have made a prior reservation on them, having proceeded to pay for them through the digital means available, or at the club’s Reception, depending on the type of reservation. It will never be possible to book by email or phone.
- Courts can be reserved for a game duration of 60, 90 or 120 minutes at a time.
- A reservation can be cancelled or changed up to 24 hours in advance, always through the online application or at the Club’s reception, never by email or phone.
- Refunds will only be made in cases of cancellation included in the specific regulations of each service, provided that the deadlines detailed therein are met. The club will proceed to refund the full amount of the reservation to the customer’s wallet voucher. If you do not have a wallet voucher, the Club will activate it and charge the amount to be returned for the cancellation.
- In the event that at the time of play it was raining or the court was impassable due to rain, the customer may request a refund of the amount, which will always be made to the wallet voucher (clubs with outdoor courts).
- If it starts to rain after the game has started, if no more than 30 minutes of play have elapsed, the amount of the track will be returned to the wallet bonus as explained in the previous point. If 30 minutes of play have already elapsed, the amount of the court will not be refunded (outdoor court club).
11. REGULATIONS FOR PRIVATE LESSONS AND PADEL VOUCHERS:
- The offer of the Duin School includes private lessons, completely adapted to the specific needs of the student.
- There is the possibility of hiring private lessons for 1 or 2 people.
- The student may set the day and time that best suits them for the celebration of the class, provided that there are teachers available.
- The day and time on which the classes of a voucher are held can be defined class by class or in general way for the entire voucher, always with the confirmation of the Club’s coordination.
- Bonds must be paid when they are purchased.
- Private classes can be cancelled or changed to a time or day, as long as it is done at least 24 hours before they are held. Cancellation less than 24 hours in advance will result in the loss of the class and the amount paid for it.
12. DISCIPLINARY REGIME
Sports centres are considered spaces of public concurrence in which rules of conduct regulated by a Disciplinary Regime are necessary. This disciplinary regime is a very useful internal document that streamlines disciplinary actions and complements those legal actions that any user or the entity itself considers appropriate to undertake.
12.1. INFRACCIONES
Violations of the rules of conduct will be of three types: VERY SERIOUS, SERIOUS AND MINOR.
The following are considered VERY SERIOUS infractions:
a) The inappropriate use of sports facilities, material or sports equipment that
involves a significant disturbance of coexistence and seriously affects the
tranquillity or the exercise of legitimate rights of other people, or the normal development of activities. b) Preventing the use of the sports facility or any of its elements by other users. c) Preventing or seriously obstructing the normal operation of the facility sportive. d) Serious and significant deterioration of equipment, infrastructures, facilities, elements or material of
the sports facility. e) Physical or verbal aggression to the staff of the sports facility or to another user. f) Disobedience to employees when this may affect the safety of people. g) Entering conscientiously into premises of the centre intended for the opposite sex. h) Sexual practices of any kind within the sports facility. i) Any theft, theft or attempt, either of any property of a user or of the installation itself. j) The falsification of documents or improper use of documentary records. k) Publicly and notoriously exposing, either in written or verbal form, falsehoods that cause the discredit
of the entity or its users. l) Introducing or exhibiting banners, symbols, emblems or legends that, due to their content or the
circumstances in which they are displayed or used, may be considered an act that incites or encourages
violent behavior, xenophobic, racist, or as an act of manifest contempt for participants
in sporting activity. m) Introducing weapons, flares, explosive firecrackers or any flammable, smoke-free or corrosive product. n) Lighting fire. o) The recurrence of serious misconduct.
The following are considered SERIOUS infractions:
a) The inappropriate use of municipal sports facilities, material or equipment when
the circumstances do not exist to classify them as very serious. b) The deterioration of equipment, infrastructures, facilities, elements or material of the sports facility
when it is not considered very serious. c) Failure to respect the schedules and operation of sports services. d) Failure to comply with current regulations on the consumption of tobacco, alcohol and narcotic substances
. e) Making use of sports services with containers or containers made of glass, metal or any other
material that is not paper or plastic. f) Accessing the facilities with animals, except in the cases provided for by law. g) To access the facilities with vehicles of any kind, except when they have the space
provided for this purpose and for the time limited to the duration of the activity. h) To teach classes without authorisation. i) To carry out any lucrative economic activity. j) To play games with or without elements, except in the areas set up for this purpose. k) Introducing objects into the water, except in the cases provided for in the regulations. l) To make photographic or video reports, without express authorisation. m) Subletting, ceding or lending the right to use the sports spaces with reservation to third
parties or entities without express authorisation. n) The recurrence of minor offences.
The following are considered MINOR infractions:
a) Using sports facilities without appropriate clothing.
b) Not respecting the indicated rules that govern each area.
c) Use music players without headphones.
d) Throwing substances and residues or any type of waste outside the containers intended for this purpose.
e) Eating outside the areas set up for this purpose.
f) Not heeding the instructions of the staff of the municipal sports facilities.
g) Any other breach of duties or the performance of actions prohibited to users in
the internal regulations of the centre, when they do not give rise to serious or very serious misconduct.
12.2. SANCIONES
The sanction corresponding to VERY SERIOUS infractions will be the suspension of subscriber rights for a period of 1 year or more, which may lead to definitive suspension.
The penalty for SERIOUS infringements will be the suspension of subscriber rights for a period of between 1 month and 1 year.
The sanction corresponding to MINOR infractions will be a verbal or written warning with possible loss of subscriber rights for a period between 1 day and 1 month.
12.3. REPOSICIÓN E INDEMNIZACIÓN
Regardless of the sanctions that may be imposed for the acts typified in this Disciplinary Regime, the offender will be obliged to return and restore the property to its previous state, with compensation for the damages caused.
12.4. RESPONSABLES
a) Those who commit them will be responsible for infringements of these Regulations.
b) When the actions constituting an infringement are committed by several persons jointly, and it is not possible to determine the degree of participation of each one, they shall all be jointly and severally liable, in accordance with the provisions of the legislation on common administrative procedure.
12.5. PROCEDIMIENTO
In the event of an alleged infringement, the action to be taken will be as follows:
a) The Management of the Sports Centre gives the user a communication informing them of the disciplinary proceedings opened and the statement of objections. Until the decision of the sanction, the subscriber may use the facilities, except in cases of serious or very serious infringements.
b) The user may present in writing the allegations and propose the means of proof that he or she deems
appropriate in defence of his or her rights. You have a period of 10 days from the date this document is sent
.
c) Once the above procedure has been completed, the Management of the Centre, within a maximum period of 20 days from the
receipt of the allegations, notifies the interested party of the agreement taken.
d) Faults considered as very serious infractions will be reported to the sports area of the
City Council of the municipality itself, in the event that the facility is of a public nature.
13. USE OF INVITATIONS
The Duin centers reserve the right to deliver or exchange invitations to subscribers and non-subscribers in order to facilitate access to the sports center to people who are not subscribers. To make use of these invitations must be attended to:
- Each Duin centre will decide on the reason for issuing the invitations according to its own commercial policy, without these reasons having to be maintained indefinitely over time.
- As long as the school allows it, a user can redeem the invitation if they have not used another one in the last year.
- Invitations may not be used by former season ticket holders who have been on sick leave for less than 1 year or have a pending receipt.
- The use of an invitation allows the user to access the sports center for 1 day and make use of the same services and activities of the full fee subscribers. In no case it will include services such as courses, personal training, aesthetic services, health services,…
- The use of an invitation implies allowing the processing of the user’s personal data and their acceptance of the administrative conditions.
- By using the invitations, the user agrees to be aware of the implicit risks that physical exercise may have for health and exonerates the company from any liability for damages and injuries.
- The Management of each Duin centre may modify this policy for the benefit of the convenience of the subscribers themselves.
